At the commission of "Moldavska GRES" CJSC (Republic of Moldova, Moldovan Transdniestrian Republic), specialist of SOYUZ Corporation performed overhaul of 400 kV "MoldGRES - Vulcăneşti".
Work was carried out under complicated conditions in the border zone between the two countries – Ukraine and Moldova, in the flooded areas of the Dniester estuary (Ukraine). Crossing of the overhead line was accomplished across the Dniester River. Terms of work were agreed with the State Enterprise "Moldelectrica" (Moldova). The works were carried out after a temporary disconnection of the OHL from the power line.
Overhaul of the OHL 400 kV "MoldGRES - Vulcăneşti" has significantly improved the reliability of load center at the south of Odessa region (Ukraine) and the southern regions of Republic of Moldova.
