During 2018-2019, Soyuz Corporation worked as a contractor for the construction of 100 MW Orlivskaya Wind Farm in Prymorskyi district, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, on the order of VESTAS UKRAINE LLC.
On November 15, 2019, the ceremonial opening of Orlivskaya Wind Farm was held.
The supplier of the basic equipment of the Wind Farm was VESTAS (Denmark).
Orlivskaya Wind Farm borders with two other DTEK VDE wind parks on the coast of the Azov Sea in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The facility has 26 installed wind turbines manufactured by the Danish company VESTAS, with a capacity of 3.8 MW each. The height of the wind turbine tower is 112 m., the rotor diameter is 126 m.
The estimated annual output of Orlivskaya WFF is 380 million kWh of “green” electricity, that is enough to provide 190,000 households during a year. Generation of the station will allow avoiding the emission of the equivalent of 400 thousand tons of CO2 per year.
