ABOUT PROJECT

BIOMASS (WOOD WASTE) THERMAL POWER PLANT

BIOMASS (WOOD WASTE) THERMAL POWER PLANT,

4 000 KVA ELECTRICAL POWER,

IN KORYUKIVKA TOWN, CHERNIHIV REGION

In 2016, SOYUZ Corporation has made the construction of thermal power plant, 4 000 kVA electric power, in Koryukivka town, Chernihiv region. The fuel used is wood chips produced from wood waste of wood processing enterprises.

In the project it installed main thermal, mechanical and electrical equipment from leading European manufacturers, namely: boiler and superheater produced by Thorne Bibcochran; bag filter produced by Dantherm Filtration; furnace burners and fuel supply system produced by Bioflame; pumping equipment produced by Grunfoss; capacitor unit produced by Hamworthy; turbine manufactured by Siemens, generator Indar, TRANSICON control system.

During the construction of thermal power station, SOYUZ Corporation performed the following work on installation:

– System "walking floor",
– Fuel pipelines,
– Vibrating hopper and supplies,
– Two furnaces with flues,
– Blowing fans and ducts,
– Fuel feeders,
– Superheater,
– Boiler with steam drum,
– Water economizer,
– Bag filter,
– Smoke exhausts and chimney,
– Feed pumps and feed water pipelines,
– Steam conduits and steam distribution system,
– Turbine,
– Capacitor and deaeration plants,
– Condensate pumps,
– Cooling system of circulating water,
– Drainage systems,
– Electrical equipment and cables,
– 0.4 kV distribution substation for the own needs and automation systems.

The full range of commissioning is completed and tested.

Commissioning of the thermal power power plant in 2016 in Koryukivka town, Chernihiv region, based on European technologies, has significantly improved energy balance in the region and provided additional measures to reduce air emissions for compliance with the balance in nature.
