Generation Business Division carries out integrated design, engineering consulting, construction and comprehensive supply of equipment for thermal and renewable power facilities on a turnkey basis. Generation Business Division of SOYUZ Corporation made depreservation of the 10th unit of Krivyi Rih TPP after a 12-year break. After the commissioning of this facility, the energy system of Ukraine received an additional 300 megawatts of power. The station provides the Dnieper region with electricity. SOYUZ Corporation is the general contractor of Ukrainian pilot project for the second phase of reconstruction of power unit No. 7 of Burshtyn TPP, as a result, the installed capacity of the unit was increased up to 212.5 megawatts. Subsequently, the power unit No. 5, was reconstructed. It made possible to increase the capacity of the unit No. 5 up to 208 megawatts. Burshtyn Thermal Power Plant is one of the largest thermal power plants in Ukraine. 12 coal-based generating units are installed at the plant. The plant is located at the intersection of power lines, which connect Ukraine with the power systems of Hungary, Slovakia, and Romania, providing the three regions of Western Ukraine with the energy and ensuring the production of electricity for export.
STRATEGIC PATHWAYS OF BUSINESS DIVISION "GENERATION" WORK
Corporation "Soyuz" is one of the leaders in Ukraine for the implementation on its territory of energy efficient technologies of heat and electricity energy generation.
Actual characteristic features of the Division's activity are:
- development of the construction designs of mini-CHP on a turnkey basis, designed for burning biofuels (straw, wood industry waste, briquettes, pellets and others.);
- reconstruction of municipal boiler houses, individual heating units, and heat network communications;
- reconstruction of urban water purification systems;
- cooperation according to the programs of the World and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development;
- implementation of technologies from world leaders in this field, such as SIEMENS, ENERSTENA, VIESSMANN, EKOL, IVAR SKODA, TURBODEN, ANSALDO, ALFA LAVAL, who have extensive years of experience.
